This one called 'Belle-Vue' Beer. I think Belle-Vue is the name of the place in Belgium. This beer has cranberry flavor, and was really nice.. ^^

How are you been doing
Long time no write. OH, I had really really busy 2 weeks. Now we are invited children of Brazilian Saga lyceum and taking care for ten days. They are children of the people who emigrated to Brazil from our prefecture before and after the war. They came to the town which was a hometown of their grandparents and parents. I took them to the popular places in our prefecture, and they are enjoying a lot. They can speak English so we can communicate using English. I have no idea what they are saying when they get together and talking in Portuguese. But they are cute and having a lot of fun talking about Brazil and Japan. I worked 8:30am to 12:00am almost every weekday, and I had to work on Sat. It was hard, but was fun.
Now I am busy with editing and proofreading of a booklet now. This booklet is published once in two months. I always think about a topic of the next issue and go for coverage. Though I am busy, I am happy.
I intend to quit my job at the end of this March. Our boss is a retired employee of the prefectural office staff. He does not think about things of our duties seriously. Only he thinks about is his paid vacation and an amount of money of his salary. And that is the most important things for him. For this one year, mutual understanding among a chief of the bureau and the staff is impossible. We always argue by discrepancy of our opinion. The chief of a subsection is the same, too. These two people give the settlement for all the projects. Because our viewpoint and their viewpoints are different, we must to do a different project of intention at all. Because they are the bosses. We have to do whatever they say. In addition, this association is an affiliated organization of a prefectural government prefecture. In a budget cut, an association is reduced in the future, and it seems to be merged by some organization. Should I think about my own future? Yes I should. Seriousely. ^^
AAAnyway… how are you all? We (Japan) is having really worm winter. No snow yet.. No snow in sky resort… crazy weather…

Home
I went back home last weeknd and met my uncle's family and my cousin 's family. We all get together and took a day trip with 9 people. It was fun, but it made me think ablot about all kinds of stuff. So as my cousin. Well, but it was nice to be back home and see all my family. My grandma was bit sad when we were getting ready to leave the house. She said, 'Oh it was too fun, and everytime you all gone, this house seems so empty.' ^^ I will come back grandma.
Here is my dogs. They've grown up a lot!
But still cute!

Kagamimochi (Japanese traditional Japanese New Year rice cake)
Kagamimochi (鏡餅) is a traditional Japanese New Year traditional decoration. It usually consists of two round mochi (rice cake). The smaller placed atop the larger mochi and mikan (my favorites Japanese orange) on top. I really don’t know what and why we decorate this kagamimochi in a new year. (humm, I need a research)
This Kagamimochi is placed in various place in a house and important places. Mostly we decorate this kagamimochi in a kitchen, living room, entrance, and in a car. I think this placement in a household is bit different depend on a religious persuasion.
I placed in my kitchen, living room and my car.
I will update more information later.. If I found out the meaning of this kagamimochi. On Dec 30th, we gathered and made Kagamimochi. We wash a mochi rice (rice for making mochi: rice cake) on 29th, and immerse rice in ice water over a night. We made kagamimochi for 4 families.

Japanese Christmas
We celebrate Christmas, but not western way. We have our own way to celebrate the day call ‘Christmas’. (This is in general opinion) Japanese Christmas is for lovers and children’s. Loving couple goes to dinner and buy present. You will see a couple holding hands everywhere. ^^ People buy present to your family and husband and wife. But we don’t go to church. (Yes there are Christians in Japan. They do go to church.) In Christmas, I miss my American family. I spend 2 years in US, and I really had good time there. I had a chance to come into contact with a different culture. ^^
In Japan, we eat fried chicken and Christmas cake. ^^ Because of this culture, we have expression for lady. People say ‘don’t be a Christmas cake’ that’s means get married before 25. Because until Dec 24th, Christmas cake is fancy and expensive, but after 25th, the price drop down and Christmas cake is not Christmas cake anymore. ^^ Bad? Good?
