I went to bakary shop during my lunch break, and I found berry pie. It has all kinds of berries on top of the crispy pie, and custard cream inside. It was sooo delisciouse. In this season, we have product using berries, marron, sweet potato. All the company will sell them as limited-time product. And people gets crazy about it... ^^

I am crazy about berries. Strawberry, rasberry, blackberry, blueberry... love them. I wish I have big garden to grow them. I will be a autumn lover!

I don't like cold weather. I don't like winter season... Because... it so cold. I feel so sad, and feel like I want to cry. And I do cry when its a really really cold day. I need to ride a bike to work, and ... I just do not like this time of the season.. I know, its pritty. Leaves are turning red, you appriciate the sunshine more than summer. After riding a bike in a cold wind, and got home and change your close to your favorate soft confortable clothes, and just open your shocks drower and choose what you want to wear tonight... Its a little joy of my day.. ^^

National High School Championship at Koshien Stadium

What kind of event does Japan have? Summer festival? Fire works? School homework? Yes. But Koshien is the one of excitement of Japanese summer.

High school baseball players first compete in their regional preliminary games, with hopes of winning a chance to play at the famed Koshien Stadium. All high school baseball players are dream of appearing at Koushien. High school baseball players first compete in their regional preliminary games, with hopes of winning a chance to play at the famed Koshien Stadium. Here we are, The 85th high school baseball tournament were held at Koshien stadium from August 7th to the 21st. Every August forty-nine teams from 47 prefectures compete at the stadium. Which team won this year? The high school team from our prefecture won the year of 2007! I was so excited. All the game was broad cast, and of course the final game too. Game were held during our working time, but we all turn on the TV and watched the young athletes play.

Our team 'Saga kita high school' were against the team from Hiroshima 'Kouryo'. Koryo is known as the strong team. Our Saga kita high school were newcomer. Saga kita high school were beaten in a preliminary game all the time, but this year, they make it to the final. This is a miracle. Koryo high school were winning until the bottom of the eighth. Until then, Saga kita had 1 hit, and Koryo high school had 12 hits. We were loosing score by 0-4. We all had resigned smile, and praise team's efforts.

However!!!! end 8th, luck is on our side. Saga kita high school hit the second hit, 3rd hit and 4th hit, then as quick as a wink single to fill the bases. Soon, run-scoring walk then Saga kita high school got score 1! We all thought we never going to win this game unless something dramatic happens. but IT HAPPENED!!! Next batter hit HOMERUN!!! He hit a grand slam homerun!!! It was dramatic, and be nothing less than miraculous. Saga kita high school score 5 then it was come-from-behind homer!!!!!!!
Top 9th, Saga kita high school got a strikeout then shortened game. Saga kita high school won the first victory of the championship.

At the end of each game, players from the winning team stand in line and sing their school anthem. Saga kita high school was my father-in-law's old school. He was there at the studiam to see the game. He said he was moved to tears and could not sing the school anthem.

It was most excited summer I never experienced. It was wonderful.

The Lake House

Finally, I could rent a DVD ‘The Lake House’ from store. It was really interesting story and romantic. It would be wonderful if it became a true story. Yes, at the end, I thought this is convenient fiction. However, it was still good. (I like Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves) I wish I could live a house like that.. Not like a house surrounded by window, but house by the lake. I like lake more than ocean. I like river too, but I like lake. I used to go to fishing to the lake when I was in college. I used to go every weekend with my boat. It was really nice to just sit on a little boat, drinking tea in a really quiet lake. I could feel the nature too. ^^ Maybe that is why I like picnic so much. ha-ha

鈍感力

According to the internet fortune-telling, my 40’s ~ 50’s would be the most attractive year of my life.
Hum, so, I am 30 years old now…interesting. ^^ I hope I am happy and have a good health when I reached 40. 10 years from now. Humm. I can’t imagine my future looks like.

News from Japan. Now the book called 鈍感力(obtuseness power- A literal translation) is the best cellar of this month. Obtuseness... sounds really negative, but this book is about, have a little bit of obtuse mind to deal with social problem, work, and relationship with your boss. I haven’t read this book yet, but my husband is. I don’t want him to be more obtuseness than he is now, but we are living in such a stress world... this book tells us ‘take it easy’ I think. This book is focus on many different subjects, like work, family, love relationship, etc…In love relationship, the author said, “There are not love theories in the world. At first you must recognize that a man and woman is a different creature. People might say ‘we will understand each other when we talk each other’ this might work but we need to remember man and woman is a different creature, so most of the time they get lost as much as they ‘talk’. They ended up fighting and arguing saying ‘why!?’ Then, you need obtuse mind to deal with this problem. Take it easy, and stick with the fact that man and woman is a different creature. It is simply this.” (Translated by me so may be not making any sense to you... ^^ but kind of had idea what this book about?) The author is very famous in Japan. I am going to read after my husband finishes the book.
So, what do you think? do you like this idea? have a bit more obtuse mind to deal with your problem.. ^^

Let me introduce you to・・・

Please, let me introduce my daughter.

She just turned 1 year-old in March. Isn't she cute!!! Oh, I am not a abucing her.. I am playing with her. ^^

I will tell you more about girl’s day in Japan.
Date: 3rd of March
We call it usually we call this day Hinamatsuri’雛祭.This holiday is also known as the Momo no Sekku (桃の節句)、peach blossoms starts to bloom and are the symbol of courage and feminine beauty. Young girls put on their kimonos or fancy cute dress and visit the homes of their family. Tiered platforms for hina ningyo (hina dolls; a set of dolls representing the emperor, empress, attendants, and musicians in ancient court dress) are set up in the home, and the family celebrates with a special meal of hishimochi (diamond-shaped rice cakes) and shirozake (rice malt with sake).During this celemory, we often do little event called ‘Mochifumi’餅踏. Child will steped on rice cake 餅, and wish this child to have the same tenacity as rice cake. (learn perseverance, with patience, engage in tenacious efforts aimed at ~)

We also has Children’s day. Children’s day is May 5th, and this day reprisent as boy’s day. It is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness.
Before this day, families raise the carp-shaped Koinobori flags, one for each boy (or child), display a doll usually riding on a large carp, and the traditional Japanese military helmet,Kabuto. Kintarō and the kabuto are symbols of a strong and healthy boy. So, if you come to Japan around May season, and you see this Koinobori, that house had boy child.

Well, hehe, I was kidding about my child story. She is not my daughter. I wish.. but ...she is my little cousin. ^^ Yes one-year-old cousin. My uncle got married (second time) and now he had this cute little girl. ^^ Having so much fun with her. ( we put her into a French doll glass case... she is so tiny.... )

getting divorce.....?

Are we getting divorce?
This has been a deep, heavy and strong issue for a loooooong time. More we talk , more we act, the situation gets worse... I mean... we've find out the way we love each other is really different, and the love we give each other is not content our lives, heart and not filing our ... love tank... we are now, understand the way we love each other is not chearing our lives, so we are kind of giving up to focus 'the different part' and moving on... is this a forward-looking compromise ? not giving up, but growing up?

Why we can't change the way we love each other for the way we want to be loved? Because our theory? philosophy?definition ? of love is different, and this part we cannot change. We understand we are different, but all the emotion, words, act, comes from what you belieaved on... so we feel 'humm....' sometime, and that is why we are not filling our love tank. We go out and do something to make myself good to feel out tank ... as a stopgap measure .... make sence? hehe...

I need passion to live... I always had and I always will... but right now, I found out my passion will break our relationship.... should I throw away my passion and live like a .... how?? how could I live??

now we are still living together, but our job is really busy so we dont have time to say something to each other... just say good moring, and have a good day in a morning, and ..... we hasn't spoken for a week in a night.... just sending text message say good night.

But life moves on, time moves on....

getting divorce is the best choice for our relationship... we both agreed on... I guess he was too good for me to become my husband. hehe...

well... wish us luck...

ciao...

oh, going away to New Zealand at the end of this month for a week... to recharge my battery and clear things my head.

Extract a wisdom tooth

I am feeling some pain because the anesthetic is wearing off… little by little. I took some medicine to kill the pain. Wooo… I haven’t been to dentist for a long time, so I was really nurvouse. But Dr. was really kind, so… the whole thing went really smooth, and I was fine.
Look how big it is… wooo… start to have a dull pain…..

Anyway, last weekend, I went back to my home town. It is really good to be home. My family is doing fine. We have spring seasonal festival called ‘Sekku 節句’ If it’s a boy, its called ‘Tango-no-Sekku’, if it’s a girl its called ‘Momo-no-sekku’.

Tango no Sekku (May 5)
May 5th is the Boys' Festival in Japan. It is the festival to hope all of the boys in each household would grow up healthy and strong. Warrior figures (often the dolls of boys in suits of armor) and/or Warrior's helmet and Warrior's Suit of Armor are set up in the house during this festival, iris leaves (Shobu) are placed under the eaves to fend off evil, and huge carp shaped streamers (Koinobori) are fastened to poles.

Momo-no-Sekku also called Hina Matsuri. This is on March 3. This "Festival of Dolls" (also called, "The Girl's Festival") is the day on which wishes are made for the future happiness of all girls. A set of dolls dressed in costumes, originally worn in the royal court in ancient times, are displayed with peach blossoms decorations. These dolls are sooooo beautiful. We have this doll festival everywhere in Japan.

We really have wonderful culture. ^^
Our family all gathered last weekend and had really good time. We eat and drink and talked. This day is celebrating young girl, but also this is the day for grand parents. They are just really happy to see all the family together. ^^ My cousin will moved to Okinawa next month (which is 3hours from here by plain) because of his job.. We will miss his family.

Macrobiotics

I went to Macrobiotics cooking class today. It was really interesting. Do you know what Macrobiotics is? Macrobiotics, from the Greek"macro" (large, long) + "bios" (life), is a lifestyle that incorporates a dietary regimen. Macrobiotic methodology was brought to Europe from Japan by Japanese philosopher George Ohsawa (1893–1966). [by Wikipedia] Wow, I didn't know. But its really popular in Japan. Cook without eggs, sugar and milk. Also cook using organic products. Macrobiotic diets follow the idea of yin and yang. Followers of macrobiotics believe that food, and food quality, affects our lives more than is commonly thought. (But this is true...) Learning about Macrobiotics and what food and products prisent, makes me want to learn more about what we eat. I do not need to be so sincitive, but It give me an idea of use more traditional methods of cooking for family, friends, and oneself.

Today, I made sweets. Cocoa cake, puding and coco cookies. WITHOUT using milk, sugar and eggs. Wow, it's sure taste natural. We used natural organic ingredients and taste alot simple and plain, but felt really worm and calm.. (do you know what I mean??)
